MISS MEVCUDA 2024/2025 BEAUTY PAGEANT: THE JOURNEY TO THE CROWN OF PEACE
According to the Internal policies guiding the objectives of Miss MEVCUDA which is Cultural and National Integration, the organising commitee with recommendations of the members of jury at the finals of Miss MEVCUDA 2024 announce the new MISS MEVCUDA trio including, Miss Nicole Buma Mbanyi (Winner – South West, Origin), Miss Grace Lum (1st Runner-up, North West Origin) and Azoa Murielle (2nd Runner-up Centre RĂ©gion Origin).
MISS MEVCUDA AS A TOOL TO FOSTER CULTURAL INTEGRATION
The main objective of Miss MEVCUDA is to promote peace and sustainable development through Cultural and National Integration, bringing to the spotlight the 4 Geopolitical zones of the country.
These zones include the Grand North (Far North, North and Adamawa Regions), Grand South (Centre, East and South Regions), the Grassfield (Northwest and West Regions) as well as the Sawa (Littoral and SouthWest Regions).
As part of it’s 3 key pillar strategies, the Miss MEVCUDA organising committee sought its finalists through two phases; An online submission of audition/entry videos as well as submissions of task execution videos curated under the theme ” MEVCUDA MEETS THE MASSES.”
BOOTCAMP CHRONICLES
During the bootcamp which took place at Miramare Ocean Front Resort, the finalists were treated to several activities including, training and rehearsal sessions, workshops and round table talks, leisure activities, a field trip to the Bimbia slave trade site and Courtesy visits to the National Coordinator of the MEVCUDA project as well as South-west Regional Delegation of Arts and Culture.
