The annual cultural festival which took place from the 14th to 16th of February was organised in Siga-Bonjo village, Yabassi sub-division in Nkam Division of the Littoral region.
The 3-day event brought to light a set activities and festivities characteristic of the SAWA way of life, allowing them to perpetuate ancestral beliefs and rituals as true cultural expressions and symbols.

According to the promoter of the cultural festival, HRH Professor Narcisse Muelle Kombi, the MADIBA Festival stands as a platform that highlights authentic elements of Sawa culture, components of the rich Cameroonian cultural heritage.

It brings back to life the atmosphere of intercommunity meetings during which Sawa sons meet on landing stages, beaches or markets for various exchanges.
Congratulations to the organising commitee.
