MEVCUDA-2023 National Football Competition
The MEVCUDA National Football competition held from the 7 th to 12th of November 2023 in Limbe, South West Region of Cameroon. The matches held in four locations namely the Limbe Omnisport Stadium Annex, the Limbe Fisheries school pitch, the SONARA Sports Complex and the Middle Farms football pitch. The competition had 22 clubs in detail 16 in the male
categories and 6 in the female categories.
The winner of the Male categories was Best Star Academy of Limbe, while Isle of Hope won the second position, meanwhile Solidarity FC of Douala won the 3rd position.
After the competition, a selection of 30 best players who took part in the competition were assembled for a soccer talent show to select the best 5 players who will be enrolled into a football academy in Turkey for capacity building.
